Jacqueline es una mujer fatal; sonríe cuando su amigo el taxista le dice que las mujeres como ella no pueden ser buenas. Ella es la protagonista de La falda roja, la historia que da título a esta colección de 12+1 relatos. Los cuentos —como se lee en la portada del libro— son más o menos eróticos. Casi todos, también, humorísticos, y algunos, fantásticos, surrealistas y políticamente incorrectos; pero, sobre todo, muy imaginativos. Jacqueline is a femme fatale; she smiles when her taxi driver friend tells her that women like her can’t be good. She is the protagonist of “The Red Skirt”, the title story of this collection of 12+1 stories. The tales -as the cover of the book reads- are more or less erotic. Almost all of them, too, are humorous, and some are fantastic, surreal, and politically incorrect; but, above all, very imaginative.

Héctor Fàbregas Cucala Autor

El autor, nacido en Lloret de Mar en 1955, se licenció en Historia, Geografía y Arte; pero ejerció casi toda su vida docente como profesor de inglés en diferentes institutos. Su vocación literaria se despertó muy tarde, ya pasados los cincuenta, y no se decidió a publicar su primera colección de relatos —la que tienen ustedes en sus manos— hasta trece años después. El escritor, como otros autores catalanes, escribe en castellano y, por esta vez, se ha animado a publicar sus historias en una edición bilingüe.The author, born in Lloret de Mar in 1955, graduated in History, Geography and Art; but spent most of his teaching life as an English teacher in different secondary schools. His literary vocation awoke very late, well past his fifties, and he did not decide to publish his first collection of short stories -the one you have in your hands- until thirteen years later. The writer, like other Catalan authors, writes in Spanish, and this time, he has decided to publish his tales in a bilingual edition.
