Acerca de los autores
Anna Supplee
Anna Supplee was born in Springfield, Oregon. It was there that she developed her love of nature, hiking in the Pacific Northwest. It was often during hiking where she felt the most calm as a child. Today, Anna is an Elementary Principal in Vancouver, WA and has several years of extensive behavior specialist training. She has been working with children for over 20 years. She often identifies with many students struggling with anxiety because of her own struggle and journey with it. This book is special in that she appreciates the message of relief and grounding that nature and mindfulness can provide.
Natalie Shafik Anderson
Natalie, born as “Nada"" in Limassol, Cyprus, came to the United States as an Egyptian immigrant. She is a School Counselor and holds a credential in Elementary Administration. Having worked with children for over 15 years, Natalie believes in the importance of trauma-informed literature as a means of helping young students gain knowledge and strategies to cope with anxiety. Her continued journey with the mind-body connection inspired “NOW” and her hope is that children, including her very own Ari, begin to learn the power they hold within themselves to navigate through life.
