Victor Ivanov, father of three children and polyglot, speaker of six languages (Russian, German, English, Chinese, Spanish and Catalan). He has a background in mathematics and economics, studied in Russia (Moscow), Germany (Heidelberg), Switzerland (St. Gallen) and Barcelona (IESE and ESADE).
Languages have interested and accompanied the author throughout his life. The time and attention devoted to languages paid off with the current ability to communicate fluently in six languages. Since becoming a father, the author has gone from being a student to being a teacher and began to observe the way in which we learn languages.
If there are so many language schools, why is speaking a foreign language still a challenge? That question motivated the author to initially do research and then to write this book.
