In the year 2666, within the nation of Sapagna, Exeus Wildfred has reached the pinnacle of the national gladiatorial games. As the new champion of Mentrish, Exeus follows the ruthless philosophy of his predecessor, Charles Alnay, prioritizing wealth, status, and the pursuit of glory over personal sentiment. Raised in the impoverished and wind-swept county of Windland, his journey from a struggling farm boy to a revered "black sting" reflects the harsh social stratification and systemic corruption of a society obsessed with violent spectacle. Amidst the state-sanctioned brutality and the manipulation of public funds for arena entertainment, Exeus must grapple with the true cost of his ambition in a world where survival is synonymous with dominance.
