This book is based on recent scientific research and provides a wide range of practical, easy-to-apply skills and techniques on how to persuade & influence individuals and groups by avoiding conflictive communication and using collaborative communication. These skills are based on Linguistic Universals and can easily be applied effectively in many other languages.
Collaborative communication involves a specific set of skills, techniques and language designed to continually reinforce the concept of working together to achieve common goals and objectives in a way that is beneficial to all parties involved.
Many publications deal with issues related to manipulation, persuasion and influence. Interestingly, many of their recommendations are based on general and NOT specific concepts. This book provides a structured guide, with practical examples, to all the elements that must be present and the techniques available to successfully influence individuals and groups. The material covered is based on Applied Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Psychology, Ericksonian Hypnosis, N.L.P. Neuropsychology and Psychophysics, etc. The book aims to make this advanced knowledge accessible to anyone who needs to design, teach or implement strategies to influence large or small groups. In addition, with the bibliography provided, the reader can delve into the detailed information they need.
