León’s birthday is going well until Witchi, the cat, appears with her present, a mouse. When Nana sees it, she gets such a fright she throws the birthday cake up in the air, while auntie Elisa jumps on the sofa screming. However, Seán, the leprechaun, and León’s little guests think it the best party they have ever been to.
At the end of the evening, Seán uses one of his gold coins to turn Grandad’s cane into Eala, the swan. Eala tells the children a story of how Cú Chulainn got his name and became the most famous warrior of The Red Branch Knights.
